Epic show May 25

Reliquary with Paris BurningReliquary is playing a show with Paris Burning! (For the historical significance of the epic-osity of this show, see the footnote.)

It’s going to be fabulous, but best of all, free =)

RSVP on the Facebook page.

Friday May 25
@ Aside of Heart Vegan Cafe & Gallery (formerly Conspire)
901 N 5th St., Phoenix [map]
Lovesong : 7pm
Paris Burning : 8pm
Reliquary : 9pm
all ages – no cover

Featuring NXOEED Art Hunt – live art by James B. Hunt and Loren Bass PLUS Morbid distractions by Tom Deadstuff

* Once upon a time, there was a Loki and a Suriel, and they created Reliquary. When they decided they needed a new singer, Dot introduced them to Sage, and Reliquary became Paris Burning. When Sage wanted to take a break, Loki and Suriel went back to being Reliquary, and recruited Kara to sing, and never the twain did overlap. Fast-forward several years to a drunken “We’re getting the band back together!” conversation, wherein Suriel decided she would record with Paris Burning, but didn’t want to do live shows, and Allison was recruited to play bass. You can make up your own mind as to whether this is a true Paris Burning show, but it is historical and epic nonetheless.
